Technical Integration Between Systems

Make the following settings in the respective systems to establish technical integration between systems:

CRM/RM-CA:
  1. Configure the logical system and assign it to the current client. Choose the following in the Customizing settings for the Start of the navigation path SAP Web Application Server:Application Link Enabling (ALE) Next navigation step Sending and Receiving Systems Next navigation step Logical Systems Next navigation step Define Logical Systems End of the navigation path (Transaction SALE).

  2. Create an RFC user (transaction SU01).

  3. Define RFC connections between systems using the RFC user (transaction SM59).

CRM:
  1. Make the industry-specific settings.

    Choose the following in the Customizing settings for Start of the navigation path Customer Relationship Management: CRM Middleware and Related Components Next navigation step Generating Industry-Specific Objects and Services Next navigation step Select Your Industry End of the navigation path . Choose Consumer Goods( CG)(Transaction SM30, Table SMOHPARIND).

  2. Generate the filter settings (see Setup and Load Guide).

  3. Generate the corresponding objects. Choose the following in the menu: Start of the navigation path Middleware Next navigation step Development Next navigation step Generation Next navigation step Generation. End of the navigation path

    Performing an initial or full generation may take several hours depending on the respective system performance.

    If you experience problems displaying the business partner, it can be helpful to regenerate the subscreen container (Transaction BUSP).

  4. Define sites and subscriptions (Transaction SMOEAC).

    You must create the subscriptions that are relevant to the data exchange between the CRM and RM-CA System for the sites. Product, business partner, business agreement etc are all examples of a subscription.

  5. Make the filter settings for the corresponding objects.

    Choose the following in the menu: Start of the navigation path Middleware Next navigation step Data Exchange Next navigation step Object Management. End of the navigation path

    Objects are subdivided into business, Customizing and condition objects. Information on setting filters at transaction type level is available in internal message 50203702.
