Verifying Client Synchronization for Laptop with the DOE

Procedure

You can prepare a test client to test the synchronization between the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE) and the SAP NetWeaver Mobile client. In this test, we consider the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Client for laptops. To set up the test scenario, you must perform the following steps:

  1. Create a logical test device in the DOE.

  2. On the physical device, perform the following activities:

    1. Install the SAP NetWeaver Mobile client.

    2. Configure the SAP NetWeaver Mobile client.

    3. Register the device with the DOE.

  3. Verify if the registration is successful by checking the device status in the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator. To do this, perform the following steps:

    1. Log on to the SAP NetWeaver AS.

    2. Choose the Administration tab page.

    3. Under Device Management choose, Device Administration .

    4. Search for the test device that you created.

    5. From the search results, choose the test device.

    6. Verify that the Status of the device is Registered .
