Configure Message Severity for Duplicate Covered Objects
As an administrator, you can configure the severity of the messages when a contract is saved with a duplicate covered object.
To avoid saving new contracts with the duplicate covered objects, configure the severity of the message to Error.
Scope and Configure
You can configure message severity using the service contract fine-tuning activity. Go to 
Business Configuration 
Implementation Projects
. Select your project and navigate to Open Activity List Fine-Tune Service Contracts Message Severity Configuration.
