Default Values Using Rules
As an administrator, you can now set default values for any field in quick create screens. You can assign dynamic default values based on business conditions.
Restrictions/Limitations

Default value rules override all other existing logic, such as, code list restrictions, extension scenarios, SDK script determination, application logic, and so on.

The rules apply only in quick create screens. They are not applicable for backend/API calls

When you write a code for the value rule, ensure that the return value is enclosed in single quotes.

You cannot apply value rules to value help fields, such as account object and multivalue fields.
