Application Log
Use
You can use the application log of Labor Demand Planning (LDP) to analyze and better understand the functions of LDP. Logs are written for the application log object /SCWM/WME and subobject LDP. You can check the logs in the warehouse management monitor node or by using the transaction SLG1.
Prerequisites
You have set a log level for the object /SCWM/WME and subobject LDP for all users, or for users who work with LDP. You can do this on the SAP Easy Access screen for Extended Warehouse Management under , or by using the transaction /SCWM/ACTLOG. We recommend that you set Log Active to Important and Medium in a productive system, and that you add a validity period.
Features
Logs can be written for the following LDP functions:
-
If errors occur during query execution on the LDP user interface. For more information, see Displaying Workload on the User Interface.
-
If errors occur during creation of historical workload records. For more information, see Historical Workload Records.
Note that logs are only written if the messages correspond to the log level that you specified in the settings. Also, for some functions logs are only written if errors occur, in order to limit the number of logs.
