You create an improvement request when you want suggestions or solutions about a piece of equipment, its process, or maintenance.
Procedure
- Open the Performance Improvement application.
- To create an internal improvement request, choose .
The system displays the Improvement Request window.
- To define a case, enter the following details in the New Improvement Request dialog box:
- Enter a request description
- Choose a reference object type (Model, Equipment, Location)
- Choose a reference object ID, based on reference object type chosen.
- Select an improvement category
- Choose a priority
- Select a reviewer to review your improvement request.
- Select a provider who can provide a resolution to your improvement request.
- Choose OK.
- To add one or more items of equipment, choose Edit→ Affected Equipment and perform the following tasks:
- Choose Add
- Select one or more items of equipment
- Choose Assign
- To add additional information to the case, choose and provide the necessary description of the case in the Description text box.
- To assign instructions to the case, choose and perform the following tasks:
- Choose the Assign Instructions dropdown.
- Select one or more instructions from the Select Instructions popup.
- Choose Assign.
- To add additional information to the case using documents, choose and perform the following tasks:
- Choose .
- Select the relevant document.
- Choose Assign.
- Choose Save.
- Choose Send for Review to submit the case to the reviewer.
- Choose Submit to submit the request directly to the provider.
