Addition of Products to Contracts The mass processing function for adding media products to contracts allows you to create contract data on a media product for a selection of retailers.
Product addition takes place using existing contracts. This means there should be at least one contract in the system for each of the retailers to whom the new media product is to be assigned. You must specify the media product in the existing contract as a selection criterion for the copying function (see below).
Note
If there is no template contract for a retailer, you must create the contract for the new media product using the corresponding processing function .
Addition of media products to contracts consists of the following steps:
Contract Scheduling
You specify the media product to be added and select the existing contracts . You can specify whether the new media product is to be added to the contracts (new item) or whether a new contract is created for it.
The system displays the lists of contracts that can be scheduled according to your selection criteria. You select the actual worklist for product addition from this list.
Execution of Product Addition
You can execute this function for one media product or an interval of media products. The system adds the new media product for the contracts in the worklist according to your specifications for scheduling .
The following diagram illustrates the process flow for product addition .
