Deleting Order Items You can use this function to delete orders or order items in
Series Sales and Distribution
that were created by the
order generation
function. If an item contains subitems, these are deleted along with the main item.
Note
If you delete an order, you can create it again using the
order generation
function.
Before you can use the function for deleting order items, the following prerequisites must be fulfilled:
Follow-on documents should not yet have been created for the order item that is to be deleted.
If you want to delete an item that contains subitems, there must not be follow-on documents for the subitems either.
There must be shipping schedule records with the status
Delete Orders
in the system.
You should have defined the system resources available to the
Delete Order Items
functions (see
RFC Settings
).
The
Delete Order Items
function makes RFC calls to delete orders and order items. You can change the RFC parameters for the function using the following Customizing settings for
