extends Object

Helper class to convert a byte array to a base64 encoded string. This string can directly used in an HTML page to persist this byte array. Only two methods are used in this class to encode and decode the byte array.

Decodes a byte array from a string. The string has to be the same as returned from the encode method.

Parameters:

encoded - an encoded String

Returns:

the byte array wich was encoded
