Returns:

the only available instance of this factory in the VM.

getControl

public com.sapportals.wdf.stack.Control getControl(String alias,
                                                   IResourceContext context)

Deprecated. As of NetWeaver 7.1

returns a new instance of a control that is published in the config under the given alias. If no control can be found for the alias, a new instance of the ErrorControl, which displays a warning message is returned. This method will not return null

Parameters:

alias - the alias-name of the control that is requested, must not be null
