public interface IWizardComponentFactory

The interface that provides a mechanism to synchronize between the wizard user interface and the property editor user interface. The PropertyEditor API is used to determine the user interface for each attribute, and the captions that are displayed.
Note: Not every attribute has an implementation in the property editor, so make sure you protect the attributes without an implementation.

AbstractInputComponent getControlForAttribute(String objectId,

                                              IPortalComponentRequest request)

Deprecated.

Gets the appropriate user interface control for the specified attribute ID. The template/PAR object is loaded and is used to get the required information. For example, the caption and the tooltip.

Parameters:

objectId - an ID of the template/PAR on which the new object is based

attributeId - an attribute ID

request - the portal component request

Returns:

the wizard component, null if fails to determine the control

getAttributeCaption

String getAttributeCaption(String objectId,
                           String attributeId,
                           IPortalComponentRequest request)

Deprecated.

Gets the caption for the specified attribute ID.

Parameters:

objectId - an ID of the template/PAR on which the new object is based

attributeId - an attribute ID

request - the portal component request

Returns:

the caption, null if fails to get the caption

getAttributeTooltip

String getAttributeTooltip(String objectId,
