Searching for Development Objects

Use

Technical attribute values may be assigned to the development objects to provide a way of categorization. You can use these values as criteria when searching for a particular development objects.

Prerequisites

You have created technical attribute values, so that they may be assigned to your development object. For more information, see Managing Technical Attributes .

Procedure

In the Administration workset, choose Technical Attributes → Search Development Objects.
Select a technical attribute from the table.
Its values appear in the Attribute Values table below.
Select an attribute value from the table.

Note

To search for a development object with a particular custom text value, enter the text in the Custom Text input field.
Choose Search.
Development objects with the specified technical attribute and value are listed.

To search for other development objects, choose Back.
Select an object and choose Open.
The design time of the development object opens.

Result

In the object design time you can:

Display an overview or a detailed view of the object definition
Edit different aspects of the definition
