To add a CrystalReportViewer control for Visual Studio .NET 2003

Adding a CrystalReportViewer control to your Web Form, enables you to display reports on the form.

Open the Web Form in Design view.
In the Toolbox, locate the CrystalReportViewer control.

Note Note

The CrystalReportViewer control is generally located at the bottom of the list of controls. You may have to scroll down to find it.

Drag and drop the CrystalReportViewer control onto the form.

Note Note

When you add the CrystalReportViewer control, the References folder in the Solution Explorer expands to show that a number of Crystal Reports assemblies have been automatically added to the project.

Click the CrystalReportViewer control to select it.
From the Properties window, set the ID property:

If you are using Visual Basic, set the ID property to myCrystalReportViewer.
If you are using C#, set the ID property to crystalReportViewer.

On the File menu, click Save All.
