Changing or Displaying Recipes

Prerequisites

If you activated status management for the recipe type in Customizing for Recipe Management under Recipe Settings , you can only change recipe data if the change state has the status In Process . If the change state has a different status, only the following activities can be performed:

  • Displaying recipe data

  • Changing the status according to the status network

  • If the recipe has the status Application Scope Restricted , you can edit scopes of application

  • If the recipe has the status Released and you activated the corresponding function for the recipe type in Customizing for Recipe Management under Recipe Settings , you can assign documents.

Procedure

  1. Load the recipe that you want to change or display and choose it from the hit list or the navigation area by double-clicking it.

    The change state that was selected is displayed in the application area.

  2. If you want to edit a different change state, choose the change state on the Change States tab page.

  3. Choose the tab page on which you want to change the data and make the changes.

  4. Save your entries.

    Note Note

    If you have defined global parameters for the recipe workbench, validities may conflict. For more information, see Global Parameters: Key Date and Change Number .

Result

The change state you edited is changed for its entire validity period.
