Performing Single-Level Material Price Determination

Prerequisites

  • You have determined and checked the costing sequence for the costing run.

  • You have allowed material price determination.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Accounting Next navigation step Controlling Next navigation step Product Cost Controlling Next navigation step Actual Costing/Material Ledger Next navigation step Actual Costing Next navigation step Edit Costing Run. End of the navigation path

  2. Under Process and Price Determination (Single-Level) choose Parameters.

  3. Enter the required data and set the processing option.

You can perform the function in the background for large amounts of data.

  1. Choose Execute .

Result

The system calculates periodic unit prices for the settled period and updates them (for information) in all valuation approaches in the material price analysis . The system also updates the price in company code currency in the material master record for the settled period.

For material price determination, the system deals with all materials as a basis for multilevel price determination.

Check the results of the single-level price determination.

Then perform multilevel material price determination.
