Entry of Aircraft Accidents If an aircraft accident occurs, the incident must be documented with all the relevant aircraft data.
You have created an output device with the following attributes in the
Spool Administration
transaction (transaction code SPAD) by choosing
from the SAP menu:

If you do not have the relevant authorization for creating an output device in spool administration, it can be created by system administration. For more information about setting up an output device, see SAP Note 6753 (
Printing
in file
).
The system creates a PDF file containing all the relevant aircraft data such as equipment data, flights, orders, notifications, measurement documents, and order confirmations. You define the precise scope in the Business Add-In (BAdI) /ISDFPS/BADI_PM_MBOOK.
Note
The evaluation can be started only once for a given selection of aircraft, date, and time.
Start the
Enter Aircraft Accident
transaction (transaction code /ISDFPS/LMACC1).
You can also enter an aircraft accident using the
Maintenance Book
application (transaction code /ISDFPS/PMBOOK0). To do so, choose service book type
Aircraft Accident
.
Enter the equipment number of the aircraft that was involved in the accident.
Enter the date and time of the accident.
Enter a selection limit.
The system considers only maintenance data up to this date.
If you do not enter a date, it is determined within the system using BAdI /ISDFPS/BADI_PM_MBOOK.
In the
File Name
field under
Details for PDF Output
, enter
a file name with the extension
.PDF
under which the system is to save the file.
Enter the text for the aircraft accident.
Before you execute the program, you can change settings that control the program flow. You need to configure the settings if the aircraft accident is the first accident to be recorded. These settings apply for the entire logical system.
Choose .
Enter the output device.
In the
Spool Storage
field, specify the path on an application server where the system is to save the spool file.
Note
If an SAP system has multiple application servers, select a directory to which all application servers have access.
Set the
Delete PDF File After Retrieval?
indicator so that the system can automatically delete the file that is no longer required.
Choose
Save
.
Choose
Format Data
.
The system creates the PDF file according to the configuration you specified.
