Purpose

The Defense Forces & Public Security component provides armed forces, police, and aid organizations with additional Accounting functions to carry out account assignment and budgeting for objects in the domestic base and operations in a distributed system landscape.

Implementation Considerations

One prerequisite is that you use the SAP Library under SAP ERP Central Component to learn about the Accounting components, as well as organizational flexibility , and have made the required settings in the Implementation Guide (IMG).
