Generative AI in SAP Quality Issue and Resolution

The Find Similar Processes feature in the Overall Process Information step of the Manage Problem-Solving Processes app has been enhanced to calculate the Similarity Score. The Similarity Score is an AI implementation that uses vector embeddings and consists of vectors generated by an embedding model used in Generative AI hub. The value of Similarity Score varies from 1 to 10 (10 represents the closest match and 1 represents the least match) enabling users to compare multiple problem-solving processes.

The Compare function in the Find Similar Processes feature allows multiple problem-solving process to be compared simultaneously. This comparison view allows users to see the details of the processes side by side. From this view, you can select multiple problem-solving processes to add them as related processes to the existing one. The problem-solving processes that have been added appear in the Related Problem-Solving Processes of the current problem-solving process. The comparison view displays several fields for effective comparison of problem-solving processes. However, the following description fields are only used in the calculation of the Similarity Score.
