Definition of the Maximum Number of Items per Form

Purpose

Since prenumbered forms only offer a limited amount of space, you define how many items you can print on each. When you come to print out documents later on, the system divides up the documents between forms automatically.

Follow this process to define in the system how many items can be included in any document.

Process Flow

  1. You define the maximum number of items allowed per billing document .

  2. You define billing documents as having a limited number of items .

  3. In this step, you set the indicator that tells the system that the billing documents only have room for a limited number of items. When you eventually come to create a billing document, the system reads how many items are allowed from the setting that you made in step 1.

  4. You define deliveries as having a limited number items .

The settings that you make here are similar to those in step 2, only for deliveries instead of billing documents. Here, you only need to customize deliveries that are created on the basis of sales documents.
