Granting Permissions for the Data Analyzer

Before your users can work with the data analyzer, you need to grant them the corresponding permission. Many standard application roles already include the permission to work with the data analyzer.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the rights to edit roles in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Context

The following standard application roles delivered with SAP Analytics Cloud include the permission to work with the data analyzer:

  • Admin

  • BI Admin

  • Application Creator

  • BI Content Creator

  • BI Content Viewer

  • Viewer

  • Modeler

  • Planner Reporter

In addition, you can enhance other roles with the permission for working with the data analyzer.

Procedure

  1. From the Main Menu, select Start of the navigation path Security Next navigation step  RolesEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Select the role you want to enhance with the data analyzer permission, or create a new role by clicking (Add Role).
  3. Under Permissions, go to the Data Analyzer row and select Execute.
  4. Select (Save).
