Carrying Out Single-Item, Single-Level Planning
Use
Single-item planning only involves the planning of one individual material. Single-level means that the BOM is not exploded and that, therefore, only the level directly below the material is planned.
Procedure
This takes you to the initial screen for single-level single-item planning.

In single-item planning the creation indicators in the initial screen overwrite the creation indicators in the MRP group (see Creation Indicators in the Initial Screen and the MRP Group).

If you want to save the parameters set in the initial screen, for the following planning, choose Settings ® Save. The parameters saved become the default for each following planning.
The system displays the long texts explaining the settings selected.
Result
Single-level single-item planning is carried out for the material selected.
If you select the Display results before they are saved field in the initial screen, the planning result is displayed and you can still make changes before you save it to the database. For more information, see
Working with the Planning Result.
