Define Overall Profiles

You use profiles to specify the type of the capacity evaluation.

The overall profile combines the following individual profiles:

• selection profile

• settings profile

• list profile

• graphics profile

Example

When you want to evaluate the load at a work center, the entire transaction is determined by the parameters in the overall profile.

Requirements

You must have defined the profiles for an overall profile in the following steps:

• Define selection profiles

• Define options profiles

• Define list profiles

• Define graphic profiles

Default Settings

Overall profiles are defined in the standard SAP R/3 System. With them you can evaluate the capacity requirements for all objects in a project in the information system.

All overall profiles for the information system begin with "SAPPIS*".

Recommendations

SAP recommends that you use existing overall profiles for standard evaluations.
