Archiving Read Access Logging DataLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

You can archive the data from Read Access Logging (RAL) and define retention periods. This might be necessary to fulfil legal requirements. For archiving, the archive development kit (ADK) and the ILM are used.

Procedure

  1. Make yourself acquainted with the principles and functions of data archiving in SAP application systems. You can find more information in SAP NetWeaver Library on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com under Data Archiving.
  2. Archive data from Read Access Logging by using the appropriate archiving object.
