Confirming Picking Requests
To oversee and control the picking process, you can confirm whether a picking request has been done for delivery items. Picking request confirmation can be specified for each shipping point in Customizing. If an item requires confirmation, picking must be confirmed before goods issue is posted.
Confirmation Status
Depending on the stage of processing, the system will assign various statuses to delivery items requiring confirmation. The status refers to the item quantity for which picking requests exist.

To display the confirmation status for an item, mark it and choose Item
® Status. You see the Item: Status screen. Here you find the status in the screen section Picking/Packing/Goods Issue. The confirmation status in the document flow status overview is displayed in the delivery header.

Confirmation in Delivery Processing
You can confirm delivery items both while processing a picking request (read the information in the section
Reporting the Results of Picking as well as while processing the delivery itself. When processing the later, you can confirm individual items or the whole delivery.Confirming Individual Items
To confirm individual items, mark the appropriate items in the delivery quantity overview screen. Then choose Edit
® Confirm PickRequest ® Selected items.Confirming All Items
Confirming all items can either be done in the initial screen for changing deliveries or in the quantity overview screen. To do this, choose Edit
® Confirm PickRequest ® All items.
The results of picking are automatically reported to the corresponding picking request where items are confirmed in delivery processing.
