Main Menu and Standard Toolbar

Use

The upper part of the main frame contains the main menu and the standard toolbar.

Features

You can use the main menu to access all functions that relate to the overall framework and navigation area. This section describes these functions.

Note

You can access the main menu with the function key F10. You can use the cursor keys (or the shortcut letters) to navigate in the main menu.

Functions in the Main Menu

As well as a description of the functions, we have also included the shortcut keys and letters.

Example

For example, you can access the function New ( This graphic is explained in the accompanying text ) with a key combination (Alt + O) ® N, or directly with Ctrl + N.

Object (Alt + O)

Save All	Saves all entries in the opened editors		S
Close All	Closes all editors		C
Import Software Component Versions	In design mode only: Calls function for importing software component versions (see Importing Software Component Versions)		I

Edit (Alt + E)

Navigation (Alt + N)

Back	Takes you to the object editor for the previously opened object		B
Forward	Takes you to the object editor for the next opened object		F

Tools (Alt + T)

Use this menu entry to call functions that depend on whether you are using the design or configuration tool.
