Process for Maintenance Planning
Purpose
This process describes how you create a maintenance plan, which objects you must assign and which additional functions are available to you after you have created the maintenance plan.
Process Flow
You create a
maintenance plan.
A maintenance plan always automatically contains at least one
maintenance item.You enter the
maintenance cycles.
For strategy plans, this means the maintenance cycles from the assigned
maintenance strategy.Assign other technical objects if necessary to the maintenance item (see
Object List).
You assign a
maintenance task list to the maintenance item.
This assignment is optional for single cycle plans.
You assign additional maintenance items to the maintenance plan if necessary.
You maintain the
scheduling parameters if necessary.
Save the maintenance plan.
You schedule the maintenance plan and thereby generate maintenance calls, from which the system generates
maintenance call objects (for example, maintenance orders, maintenance notifications or service entry sheets) for the due date.
You can display the scheduled calls using the
call history.
Where necessary, you can display the expected costs for one or more maintenance plans using the
maintenance plan or cost display.
