Spare Parts Delivery with a Service Contract

Purpose

The customer requests spare parts for a piece of equipment. A service contract applies to this equipment. The contract states that a price reduction is to be given when spare parts are delivered.

The logistical structure of this process is identical to that of the process Service Management - Spare Parts Delivery. In the environment of the IDES processes for service contracts, we also describe here the transfer of price agreements from a service contract to a spare parts order. We show the function for condition exclusion. You can use the condition exclusion to specify that given price agreements are to be used alternately, and therefore cannot be transferred together in one order item.
