As of Release 4.6A, you can now calculate the valuation of averages in Incentive Wages using the function AVERA. Here you must make sure that the valuation of averages must be carried out before calling the incentive wages personnel calculation rule. The wage types/0IW (at MEANV /012) and /2IW (at MEANV /206) are formed.
For more information on function AVERA, see the release notes on Valuation of Averages.
Processing incentive wages is carried out by calling schemas XIW9. Schema XIW9 is embedded in schema X000 as subschema XT00.
You also have the option to carry out the valuation of averages with the function MEANV. To do so, you use the incentive wages schema XIW0.
The schemas XIW9 and XIW0 are sample schemas for country grouping 99.
Make sure that you use your own schemas and rules in your productive system, and not the sample schemas and rules.
Personnel calculation rule XW3 checks whether the employee belongs to an employee subgroup that participates in incentive wages. You set the applicable indicator in the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Incentive Wages in the Specify Employee Subgroup for Participation in Incentive Wages section.
Use the sample calculation schemas for incentive wages available in the IMG for International Payroll for employees for whom an
Hourly wage or
Monthly wage is calculated.
If these sample schemas are used in your productive system, you must copy these schemas and the corresponding personnel calculation rule to your own name range.
