Function documentation Reporting Cockpit for Financial Details Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

This reporting cockpit is located in the context of an item. It displays the financial integration data of an item in the form of a pie chart, column chart and table.

You navigate to this reporting cockpit by choosing Portfolio Management ® Portfolio Management. Click Item Dashboard, select one item, and then choose Financial Reporting Cockpit. This opens the Reporting Cockpit for Financial Details view.

Integration

This reporting cockpit displays the FI/CO integration data present in the item. Hence FI/CO integration must be completed for the item for this function to work.

Prerequisites

You have specified the cockpit pattern under Administration ® Custom Configuration, by choosing Cockpit Pattern in the Pattern field, Rpm_Project_Costs_Details-Et_Costs in the Data Source field  and the following cockpit configurations in the View/Edit Configuration field:

·        AmountFiscalYear

·        AmountObjectType

·        AmountPeriod

·        AmountTask

·        QuantityFiscalYear

·        QuantityObjectType

·        QuantityPeriod

·        QuantityTask

Features

You can view and use graphical and table representations of the item’s FI/CO integration data.

This reporting cockpit consists of the following:

·        A pie chart which displays the overall information on the item financial data based on selected breakdown value for subtotals

·        A column chart which displays the subtotal information based on selected breakdown value for subtotals

·        A table which displays the subtotal information based on selected breakdown value. There are summary lines for each subtotal summation and a final summary line showing the grand total.

Each of these charts and table has their own expandable tray.

Tray navigation:

·        To expand all trays, click the overlapping triangles icon pointing down, at the top right.

·        To collapse all trays, click the overlapping triangles icon pointing up, at the top right.

·        To expand/collapse individual trays, click the icon at the top right of respective tray.

For any graph or chart, you can do the following:

       1.      Use the magnifying glass icon with a plus sign to magnify the graph/chart.

       2.      Use the magnifying glass icon with a minus sign to reduce the graph/chart.

The triangles at the bottom of the displayed list facilitate scrolling. The three triangles pointing down help scroll down one row at a time, one page at a time and to the last page, respectively. The three triangles pointing up perform the same function for scrolling upwards. These triangles are inactive if all financial data rows fit within a page.

Export to Excel

Export to Microsoft Excel (right top corner above the list)

Here you can export list of select collections to Microsoft Excel.

       1.      Select the financial data rows from the list

       2.      Click Export to Microsoft Excel to access the Export view.

       3.      Click TableData.xls.

 

Note

The configurations for the tables present in the financial reporting cockpit should have the same number of columns.

 

Activities

The Reporting Cockpit for Financial Details displays the financial details of the item, showing a breakdown of the following:

·        Actual Costs

·        Actual Time

·        Budgets

·        Commitment

·        Planned Costs

·        Planned Time

·        Revenue - Actual

·        Revenue - Planned

You can display subtotals by the following:

·        Fiscal Year

·        Object Type

·        Period

·        Task

There are dropdown boxes for the above choices. You click Display to see the cockpit.

Example

If an item has planned cost information as part of its FI/CO integration data, then you can use the reporting cockpit to display it in a graphical manner.

If you select Planned Costs and Fiscal Year in the dropdown boxes and click Display, then all the planned cost data are displayed according to the different fiscal years in which they are present.

The table shows each planned cost entry in a separate row and summary lines show the sum of this data for each fiscal year.

The last summary line displays the grand total, for example the sum of all the planned cost data present for the item.
