FunctionDashboard

 

You use this function to get an overview of all existing objects in the respective dashboard and to view relevant key data for the objects.

  • To display the object overview, you click the object name.

  • You can filter and select objects that you want to delete.

  • You can create a new object.

Prerequisites

You have configured standard SAP xRPM navigation in Customizing for SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) under   Global Customizing   Process and Service Settings   Define Navigation  .

Features

The following dashboards are available in the following contexts:

  • Portfolio Management

  • My Portfolio Objects

    • My Item Dashboard

    • My Initiative Dashboard

    • My Collection Dashboard

    • My Review Dashboard

  • Administration

Note Note

As an administrator, you define the visibility of the possible columns in a dashboard in Customizing by choosing   Global Customizing   Global Field Settings   Define Fields for Dashboards  .

Within a dashboard, you can perform the following actions:

  • Create

  • Delete

  • Navigate to the object overview

  • Sort

  • Filter

  • Personalize by clicking on Settings.

  • Download to PDF by choosing the Print Version pushbutton.

  • Download to Microsoft Excel by choosing the Export pushbutton.

Scope

Above the following dashboards, you can select the scope of objects that are displayed in the dashboard, such as All, Active, Inactive, Released and so on:

  • Item Dashboard

  • Initiative Dashboard

  • Review Dashboard

  • Initiative Template Dashboard

  • Item Template Dashboard

Load All

Above the item dashboard, you can select the Load All checkbox, to load all objects in a dashboard regardless of any restrictions made for maximum number of hits.

You have restricted the number of items to be displayed in Customizing for SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) under   Global Customizing   Global Settings   Check Global Settings   by defining the 0007 area of General Default Values.

Budget Status, Schedule Status, or Staffing Status

If you click the icons of the budget status, schedule status, or staffing status, the system displays the details of the statuses in a separate table below the dashboard. This feature is available for the item dashboard.

Related Items Dashboard

If you select a row in the dashboard, the system shows the items related to the object. This feature is available for the following dashboards:

  • Initiative Dashboard

  • Collection Dashboard

Hierarchy

You can display the hierarchical view of the bucket dashboard on the Portfolio Structure of Buckets screens by choosing   Portfolio Management   Portfolio Management   or   Portfolio Management   Administration   (see Portfolio Structure of Buckets and Portfolio Structure of Buckets (Admin)) .

Mass Update/Move to

You can edit the item dashboard and the initiative dashboard by choosing the Edit Items or Edit Initiatives action link. In the subsequent dashboard, you can do the following:

  • Choose Mass Update to edit Name and ID.

  • Move selected objects to another bucket.

    If you create a default configuration for a dashboard, this configuration is the same for all contexts.
