Integration for Item 

Use

You can define that financial and capacity planning data for an item or an item under an initiative is retrieved from a financial and controlling (FI/CO) system or cProjects system instead of manually entering the data.

Prerequisites

·        You have defined the Item Process for a view as Integration in Customizing for SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) by choosing Global Customizing ® Portfolio-Independent Settings ® Define Financial and Capacity Views.

·        You have made integration settings for financial planning in Customizing for SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) by choosing Base System Interfaces ® Financial Planning Settings ® Define Financial Planning Settings

·        You have made integration settings for capacity planning in Customizing for SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) by choosing Base System Interfaces ® Capacity Planning Settings ® Define Capacity Planning Settings.

Features

In the item financial planning, you can see:

·        the actual costs stored in the financials module of SAP ERP

·        the cost rate for the resource staffed in a project

Activities

To transfer costs to SAP xRPM, you must execute the following reports:

·        In SAP ERP:

¡        RPM_FIN02

·        In SAP xRPM

¡        /RPM/FIN_PLAN_INT

¡        /RPM/CAP_PLAN_INT
