Logging and Tracing

The user interface add-on for SAP NetWeaver provides OData services through SAP Gateway. SAP Gateway offers extensive logging and tracing capabilities.

Use the SAP Gateway log viewer (transaction /IWFND/ERROR_LOG) to detect errors with SAP Fiori launchpad. You can filter the result list by namespace and service:

On the front end, tracing of JavaScript code is done in the respective browser's JavaScript console.
