Setting up navigation targets for applications	In launchpad configuration (transaction LPD_CUST), you configure the navigation targets. Creating catalogs and tiles	In catalog administration, you create catalogs and assign tiles to these catalogs. For each tile, you configure the data to be displayed on the tile, as well as its navigation target (usually by referencing a lauchpad entry). For more information, see Catalog Administration. If you want catalogs and tiles to be automatically added to a transport request when you create or edit them in launch page administration, you can add parameters to your user profile as described in http://help.sap.com/ui-addon Administrator's Guide Content Administration Transporting Pages .
Assigning catalogs to roles	In Role Maintenance (PFCG), you assign catalogs to roles. For more information, see Authorizations for Tiles on the Launch Page.
Providing users access to the launch page	You can provide users access to the launch page in a standalone browser, in SAP NetWeaver Business Client and in SAP Enterprise Portal. For more information, see Providing Users Access to the Launch Page.
