Registering SAP Jam as Trusted Identity ProviderLocate this document in the navigation structure

In this step, you register SAP Jam as a trusted identity provider on your SAP Gateway server.

Prerequisites

You have received the certificate of your SAP Jam instance. This is required to set up the trust between both systems. If necessary, your contact in SuccessFactors' customer support can retrieve this certificate for you using the provisioning UI.

Note

You only need to perform this step if you wish to display business objects in SAP Jam.

Procedure

  1. Register SAP Jam as an OAuth 2.0 trusted identity provider.

    For more information, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com/nw. Choose a release. Under System Administration and Maintenance Information, open Technical Operations for SAP NetWeaver and search for Configuring a Trusted Identity Provider for OAuth 2.0.

  2. Complete the fields as required, using the following SMI-specific settings:

    OAuth 2.0 Identity Provider (add new)

    Enter the OAuth 2.0 Identity Provider in the following format:

    https://<ProxyOf YourDataCenter>/sf/oauth2/company/<CompanyName at SuccessFactors>

    Identity Federation

    1. Edit the trusted provider you created.

    2. On the Identity Federation tab, choose Supported NameID Formats and then choose Add.

    3. In the dialog, choose E-mail and then choose OK.

    4. Save your changes.

    Primary Signing Certificate

    Manually enter the certificate that you received from SuccessFactors.

  3. Save your entries.
  4. Choose Enable and confirm the dialog.

Results

You have registered SAP Jam as a trusted identity provider on your SAP Gateway server.
