Mapping from Internal to External OData ServicesLocate this document in the navigation structure

If you are using an external OData service for SAP Jam, you map the internal (SAP Gateway) OData service to the external OData (SAP Jam) service in the OData Service Registry. This procedure is not required if your application only uses one service.

Procedure

  1. In your back-end system, in Customizing for SAP NetWeaver, choose Start of the navigation path UI Technologies Next navigation step SAP Jam Integration Next navigation step Register OData Service End of the navigation path (or run transaction CLB2_GW_SRV_C).
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. Enter the external service (consumed by SAP Jam) for your app.
  4. For information about completing the remaining fields, see Registering OData Services.
  5. If necessary, enter the internal service (consumed by SAP Gateway) as a related service.
  6. Save your entries.

Results

The back-end system is now set up to make information available to the collaboration components.
