Creating RFC User

In this step, you create an RFC user in the back-end system.

1. Run transaction SU01.

   The User Maintenance: Initial screen appears.

2. In the User field, enter the name of <your RFC user>.
3. Choose Create (F8).
4. On the Address tab, complete the fields as follows:

   Field	Value
   Last Name	Enter the name of <your RFC user>.
   Function	Enter Default User for RFC Connection.

5. On the Logon Data tab, complete the fields as follows:

   Field	Value
   User Type	Select Dialog.
   Password	Enter INITIAL.
   Repeat Password	Enter INITIAL.

6. On the Defaults tab, in the Logon Language field, enter EN.
7. Save your entries.
8. Log on to the system with <your RFC user> and password INITIAL.
9. In the Password Change dialog, change the password and confirm the change.
10. Log off the system, and note the new password for your system user.
