Linking Catalog to RoleLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

The newly created catalog is linked to an authorization role for the purpose of role awareness in the Suite Page Builder.

To link a catalog to a role, proceed as follows:

Procedure

  1. In the role maintenance (transaction PFCG), enter the role that provides authorizations to all CHIPs in the catalog and choose Change. If no role exists, create a role by choosing Creating Single Role. For more information, look for Creating Single Roles in the documentation of SAP NetWeaver at http://help.sap.com.
  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Menu Next navigation step y Next navigation step AddInsert Node Next navigation step Catalog End of the navigation pathfrom the list.
  3. Enter the following information in the Assign Catalog dialog box:
    • Catalog Provider: Choose Fiori Catalog Pages
    • Catalog ID: Enter the ID of the newly created catalog
  4. Choose Continue.
    Add more CHIPs to the catalog, if required. Use the Delete icon to delete the CHIP from the catalog.
