Activating OData Services
If you want to use an OData service, you have to activate this service in your SAP NetWeaver Gateway system.
The following services are provided:

You maintain services in Customizing for SAP NetWeaver Gateway:

To activate a service in Customizing, choose
SAP NetWeaver 
Gateway OData Channel Administration General
Settings Activate and Maintain Services

To add a service, choose

Select your system alias, then select a service from the table above.
The page building services use the UI2 cache to optimize performance. If data created or modified using these services is transported, the cache must be invalidated in the target system. This does not happen automatically in SAP NetWeaver 7.0 and SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 1. Invalidate the cache by executing report /UI2/INVALIDATE_GLOBAL_CACHES.
