Context
As an administrator, you can install the NWBC front-end in an automated process without any end user interaction. This section explains how you add NWBC to the installation server.
Procedure
To create an installation server on your computer, follow the steps
described below:

Take an SAP GUI 7.40 DVD or download SAP GUI 7.40 from SAP Service Marketplace at
http://service.sap.com/swdc
and start
setup\NwCreateInstServer.exe.
The SAP NetWeaver Installation Server wizard starts.

Follow the steps in the wizard and choose a suitable directory on your
computer.
Note By default, the following path is
entered:
%APPDATA%\SAP\Common
You can, however,
change this path:
For example:
C:\<ServerName>

Restart your computer if required.
To install SAP NWBC 5.0 together with SAP GUI 7.40, follow the steps
described below:

Download the SetupAll.exe application from the SAP Service
Marketplace and run it as administrator.

Follow the steps in the subsequent dialogs.
The checkboxes SAP NetWeaver Business Client 5.0 and
SAP GUI for Windows 7.40 (Compilation 1) must be
selected.

Enter C:\<ServerName> in the folder path
dialog.
Results
If you install
SAP NWBC 5.0 together with SAP GUI 7.40, an automatic switch to the SAP UI
Landscape takes place. For this, the following registry key is
relevant:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SAP\SAPLogon
REG_DWORD | LandscapeFormatEnabled
