Data Types for Use Without Data Binding
The simple types use formatter classes which can also be used as standalone.
Whereas the simple types described in the previous sections are not intended to be used without data binding, the following formatter classes can be used standalone, for example, to format dates. The formatter classes do not provide validation.
The simple types can use the following formatter classes:
