How to Use Internet Connection Manager

This section describes how you use Internet Connection Manager (ICM Monitor) (transaction SMICM) in the context of SAP NetWeaver user interface services.

Start the ICM Monitor (transaction SMICM) in the back-end ABAP system. You have the following options:

• If there are authentication misconfigurations in the area of SSL, for example, create an ICM trace with detail level 3 and search for ERROR in the trace file.

• You can reset the ICM cache manually.

• You can check that the ICM cache works efficiently.

• You can check the ICM-relevant system configuration.
