Registering RFC Destinations for Inbound QueuesLocate this document in the navigation structure

In this step, you register the RFC destination for inbound queues.

Procedure

  1. In Customizing for SAP NetWeaver, choose Start of the navigation path Gateway Next navigation step OData Channel Next navigation step Configuration  Next navigation step Connection Settings Next navigation step  SAP NetWeaver Gateway to Consumer Next navigation step Create bgRFC Supervisor Destination End of the navigation path (or run transaction SBGRFCCONF).

    The bgRFC Destination screen appears.

  2. On the Define Inbound Dest. tab, choose Create.
  3. In the Inbound Destination Name field, enter IWFND_ODATA_PUSH, and choose Save.
  4. On the bgRFC Destination screen, save your settings.
  5. On the Scheduler: Destination tab, choose Create.
  6. In the bgRFC Configuration dialog box, choose Inbound.
  7. In the Create Scheduler Settings for Inbound Destination dialog box, in the Destination field, enter IWFND_ODATA_PUSH, or the name you defined.
  8. Save the scheduler settings you have just defined.
  9. On the bgRFC Destination screen, save your Customizing settings.
  10. On the Define Supervisor Dest. tab, verify that a supervisor destination is present. If this is not the case, run transaction SM59 and create an additional RFC destination BGRFC_SUPERVISOR of connection type 3 and add it here. For the Transfer Protocol, select Classic with tRFC.

Results

You have registered the background RFC connection as an inbound destination.
