Configuring OData ServicesLocate this document in the navigation structure

In this step, you register the OData services in the SAP Gateway system.

Context

These services are defined in and delivered with the application add-on of the back-end system. You can find the OData services you have to register in the documentation of your application.
Note

You must log on to the SAP Gateway server as administrator.

Procedure

  1. In Customizing for SAP NetWeaver, choose Start of the navigation path Gateway Next navigation step OData Channel Next navigation step Administration Next navigation step General Settings Next navigation step SAP NetWeaver Gateway to SAP System Next navigation step Activate and Maintain Services End of the navigation path (or run transaction /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE).

    The Activate and Maintain Services screen appears.

  2. Choose Add Service.

    The Add Selected Services screen appears.

  3. Enter the system alias name you created and choose Enter.
  4. In the External Service Name column, select the relevant service.
  5. In the Add Service dialog, in the Creation Information group box, select a package.
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for all required external service names.
  7. Choose Back (F3).
  8. Verify that OData ICF nodes are activated for all registered OData Services:
    1. In the service catalog, select the registered OData Service and, in the OData ICF node, select ICF Node.

    2. Choose Activate and confirm the dialog.
  9. If you also want to establish OData service callbacks from SAP Jam, activate the service for the OAuth2 flow:
    1. Select the service.
    2. Choose OAuth and confirm the dialog.
  10. Save your entries.

Results

You have activated the OData services.
