Tasks in the Business Information Warehouse
Internal orders involve cost and budgetary control tasks. To accomplish these tasks, BW provides Business Content information in the form of workbooks. Each task corresponds to one ore more workbooks. The workbooks contain one or more queries that provide the relevant information in regular reports.
The reports provide answers to the following:
Which costs are incurred on internal orders?
What are the variances?
Has the order budget been exceeded?
How high is the commitment?
How much has been allotted up to now?
The tasks each involve:
Reports for internal orders that are each assigned to the responsible cost centers
Detailed reports and lists (planned and actual costs, statistical key figures)
Area reports (planned and actual costs, budget, commitments, allotted amount, statistical key figures)
