Definition of Availability
You use this function to specify general availability for the following resource types:
Vehicle resources (see Vehicle Resources)
Handling resources (see Handling Resources)
Features
The actual availability of a resource within the general availability depends on the factory calendar, downtimes, and shift and break definitions.

Planning takes into account only available resources.

Activities
On the SAP Easy Access
screen or in SAP NetWeaver Business Client, you can specify the general availability for vehicle resources or handling resources. Choose 
Master Data
Resources
Define Resource
. Enter the resource you want to edit and choose Change
. Choose the Transportation
tab page.
