You can create pushbuttons for the most useful functions in your programs. These are arranged in the application toolbar which appears below the standard toolbar.

The system automatically fills in the text for the function definition, and an icon, if one exists.
When composing the application toolbar, you must adhere to the standards in the SAP Style Guide. To reach this guide, choose Utilities →Help Texts → Standards/proposals.

Using a Switch
You can assign (optionally) a function to a switch of the Switch Framework. Using a switch you can define whether the relevant function should be displayed or hidden when the switch is either in state ON or STAND-BY.
To assign a function to a switch, perform the following:
