Purpose

During configuration, you adapt the workflow to suit your specific needs and requirements.

Process Flow

       1.      Organizational plan and rules: You define the organizational plan.

See also: Organizational Plan

       2.      Tasks: You can define the texts for the work item display. You can, for example, describe the tasks and provide notes and recommendations for processing. You can also create notification texts, which are to be sent to the recipient of the message when processing is complete or if deadlines are missed.

See also: Maintaining Task Texts

       3.      Rules: You define rules for agent determination. If you use the web activity step type, you can also define Webflow rules.

See also: Rule Resolution

       4.      Event linkage: To determine the events to which the workflow should react, check or activate the relevant events linkages.

See also: Using Linkages

       5.      Workflow: You can create a workflow configuration in which you define values for steps of the workflow definition. Deadlines and responsible or excluded agents are examples of such values. These values are used later at runtime.
