Subscription
In a subscription you define who receives messages for work items belonging to a particular category and when, as well as how these messages are structured.
You must create at least one subscription for each delivery schedule that is to be executed. Furthermore, you can also create subscriptions for individual users or different levels of granularity (see also: Granularity of Messages). For example, you can define a different delivery type for particular users.
...
1. In the toolbar, choose New Entries and enter an arbitrary name for the subscription.
2. Select the required delivery schedule.
To ensure that the delivery schedule is executed, you must schedule report SWN_SELSEN, which executes the delivery, correspondingly (see also: Report for Selecting and Delivering).
3. Select the required delivery type.
4. Under Granularity, define whether notifications are delivered individually or grouped together as collective messages (see also: Granularity of Messages).
5. In the Receiver Type field, choose the entry Internal SAP User.
This applies for all subscriptions that belong to the Workflow scenario.
6. Enter the following in the Recipient field:
¡ <recipient> for a particular user. This is always an SAP name in the WORKFLOW scenario.
¡ * (placeholder) for all recipients.
To determine the e-mail address of the specified recipient, the following sources are checked in the specified order by default:
¡ Central user management
¡ Address that is specified in SAPoffice as the address for automatic forwarding
¡ HR user management (including organizational management)
You can change the sequence in the General Settings view (see also: General Settings).
