Use

In the general settings in the administration application you can define the following:

·        Standard text for the message header and body

·        How the URL is generated when SAP GUI for HTML is used to display or execute work items, for example server addresses

·        URL for an alternative Workflow inbox, for example the Universal Worklist

·        SAPLogon entry when using SAP Shortcuts (attachments) to display or execute work items or to display the SAP Workflow inbox

You can make further general settings in the view cluster (see also: General Settings).

Features

Standard text for the message header and body

When the message for the user is created, a standard text is used for the message subject and body. You can display these standard texts on the document maintenance screen (transaction SE61). The standard text for the body is a Text in Dialog (DT) text, while the standard text for the subject is a Message (NA) text.

To customize the standard texts for the subject and body, enter the new texts and then enter their IDs in the general settings.

Naming Conventions

Note that the following naming conventions exist when creating your own standard texts:

For messages: NA<cls><nnn>

NA: Abbreviation for message

<cls> Class name

<nnn> Three-digit number for text

For data elements: DT<abbreviation>

DT: Abbreviation for Text in Dialog

<Abbreviation>: Text ID

The following table shows the possible settings and the ID of the standard text:
