Using Block Work Items

Use

The Workflow system creates a block work item when executing a block. In the case of a block with dynamic parallel processing, a block work item is created for every line of the multiline container element that controls the parallel processing.

Integration

Block work items are not displayed in the Business Workplace. You can, however, display block work items via the work item selection.

A block work item can also be identified with the type code X in the technical information on the workflow. 

A block work item can have the same status as a Workflow work item. For more information, see Status of a Workflow Work Item.
